Kristin is a Chicago based artist who studied Art & Interior Design
at Illinois State University from 1989 - 1993,
and finished with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbia College in 1994.
She has actively pursued her passion for functional art
over the years, crafting lamps & tables using a variety of materials & media.
In 2003, she rediscovered her love of photography and began exploring
possibilities within the digital realm.
On a quest to redesign to some of nature's more interesting details,
her now signature style - the mirror image concept - began to evolve.
In the mirroring process, geometric & organic lines appear to converge,
resulting in kaleidoscopic - as well as vibrant - designs & patterns.
Borne are entirely new perspectives, open to the viewer's interpretation.
A closer look may reveal a surprise set of eyes,
or eerie insects & animals hidden within the symmetry.
